We have a different approach to interviews. Instead of hoping that a short interaction will let us know if we have a good fit, we do paid working interviews. If you're offered a paid tryout, you work directly with the team in the office and complete actual assignments. We get to know and feel what the position is like in reality. Tryouts are from 1-5 sessions with each session typically being a full work day. At the end of each day, we all assess how we performed and if the position could be a good fit. At any time, either party may decide not to move forward, and that's OK! At the end of the tryout, we pay you for all the time you worked.
